Brooklyns 9th Birthday

Brooklyn turned nine this last week. I can't believe she is that old, time goes by too fast. She had a wonderful birthday. Grandma came and ate lunch with her at school and then checked her out early to take her shopping. Then after that her friend Ava came over and we ate Brooklyns favorite meal, cream cheese chicken, and then ate cake and opened presents. After that we all piled in the car and went to the drive in and saw big hero x, it was the perfect day.

We finally got a dog, meet Chaco

After three years of praying for a dog, we finally answered their prayers. Here is the newest member of the Miller clan. His name is Chaco and he is a lab/boxer mix, a Boxador. It took us a while to think of a name for him, evie wanted Oscar, Brooklyn wanted Dexter, and some other names were thrown out there like leonitus, bandit Jr. But one day after andy went to REI and bought him a collar, he looked at the collar and said, "Ha, he has a Chaco collar, we should just name him Chaco" and I instantly loved and so did the kids, it was meant to be a joke but then it stuck. So Chaco it is, named after one of our favorite outdoor brands. Suits us really.

BYU vs MTSU Game

By some random chance we got to have dinner with my uncle mark after the game, all because of social media. On our way home I just happen to post some pics of us at the game and then by another random chance April, my cousin, commented on them and said, "Hey my dads at that game, did you see him?" We said, "What!!??!! So my mom called him up and we drove back to meet him for dinner. Just wish we would have known he would be there because he would have given us free, awesome seats, oh well, at least we got to see him. We love uncle mark.

Halloween Week

Everyday of the week of Halloween their school has them dress up in different ways, its so much fun. The picture above is book character day, and we have Pippy long stocking, Toothless, and Junie B Jones.
