Hiking Cantwell Cliffs
Almost the whole gang in front of the cabin minus Jo, Ty and Lana.
This was our sweet secluded cabin we got to enjoy all weekend. It is on 7 acres of land that was all ours.
You know your kid is use to camping and being outdoors when she has to pee and right in front of everyone she finds a log and pops a squat like its no big deal.
Evie's full time job while we are outdoors is playing in the dirt and she has become an expert.

And of course Brooklyn is in a tree, where else would she be.

Brooklyn has a good eye for cool insects she normally catches at least a couple frogs and an occasional snake whenever we camp, but this time she found the biggest Caterpillar I have ever seen.
That's right, this is my mom, she is a 51 year old grandma that can still rock climb, I am so proud.

She is a barbarian, who raised this girl.
And this is me making a long reach to the next hold.

Best Friends Forever. I love these two when they get together, they are so much alike. They are both girly and prissy and emotional and a big handful for their mothers, but we love them. We fear the day when they become teenagers. Their conversations sound like they already are. All they talk about is clothes and hair and princesses.
At the end of the trail by the cars we saw a bunch of horses coming off the trail and they saw all our girls and how mesmerized they were. One lady got off her horse and let the girls pet her horse, she said that her horse is 26 years old and is very gentle, and then asked if our girls would like to ride her. So of course our girls were thrilled and they all got to ride her except Makenna and Maddie who were still hiking, they were so sad.

ReplyDeleteI love these pictures. It makes Jay and I want to go climbing even more. Those climbs look really fun to play on. The pictures of Evie as the barbarian and on her horse are so funny and my personal favorite was Andy the sexy best. We had a good laugh when we saw that one!!
