Cutting down our own Christmas tree on papas farm

We decided it would be a good idea to cut our own tree down this year, on rockys land, for Christmas. It looked really good out on the farm. And then to fit it in our little house we had to cut a lot of the bottom of the tree off. Turns out this tree was not that full and not very strong. We got decorating it and realized it was going to barely hold lights on it and we couldn't use half of our ornaments because they were too heavy. We realized how truly ugly this tree was going to be. Andy wanted to pitch it and put up our fake tree instead, but the kids and I wanted to keep it because it made us laugh every time we looked at it. It has so much character, it kind of fits our family's personality anyways. So here are pictures of our hideous tree that brings us so much joy. 

The girls cut down their own trees also to put in their rooms. Theirs are cuter then mine.
