A weekend at the thayns house

We just had the most amazing weekend at our friends house, Kara and Derek Thayn.  They have a beautiful home and so many fun things to do.  We started out going to the City Museum in St Louis, which is amazing, every climbing kids dream. Then we just played on their land the rest of the weekend.  We drove the four wheeler around, went fishing, swam in the pond, went canoeing, ate good food, and baited and caught the rotten snapping turtle they have been trying to catch in their pond.  We killed the turtle and made a good dinner our of him.  Such good times.  We will miss them dearly, wish they still lived close to us. And on top of all that, my mom and dad happen to be driving through Illinois on their way to Arkansas and they were able to stop for dinner one night, doesn't get much better then that.
