We decided it would be fun to take the kids to the rodeo, so we checked the weather and all it said was 40% chance of rain, so we decided to go for it. The skies looked clear and it started out perfect. We were having a blast. We ate cheese fries and funnel cakes and the kids were loving the rodeo. Well around 9pm a huge gust of wind hit with a huge storm behind it out of no where. The wind was so bad things were flying around everywhere, it scared the kids so bad maddy started crying. There was lightning striking everywhere and everyone just started running. There were people and horses everywhere trying to get to safety. We started driving home and weren't sure if we should just stop somewhere and take cover. As we got closer to our house we saw that a tree was down in the road and we couldn't pass. So andy and one other guy on the road got out in this crazy storm and moved the big tree by hand. Maddy said a prayer in the car and we finally got home. The storm passed and all was well. But boy did it make for a memorable night. Yeehaw
