This is Gramps Camp, the coolest camp there ever was. My parents put on a camp for all the grand kids over 6 each year. And they are truly amazing at it. This year we had the most children and wanted to pull off the highest of adventures, so I got to go with them to help out. Other then the yucky cabin we had to stay in and one day of rain, it was beautiful and all of our adventures went great. We led the kids on adventures according to age. The 4 middles got to go on a climbing trip first, they hiked up the stair master and climbed Humphrey's head, a 65ft climb over a valley hundreds of feet high. The next adventure was the biggest one for the 3 older girls, they climbed a 300ft multi-pitch climb called old ladies route, and were able to summit. Me and the rest of the kids go to watch them summit from the visiter center with binoculars, it was amazing. The 3 youngest got to go last, they went through caving through a show cave and had a blast. All the kids loved having their own adventures. We played games and had devotionals at night, it was truly an amazing experience for these kids to be able to experience this with their grandparents. I hope they know how lucky they are.
