Reunion with some old friends

This is one of my best buddies growing up, his name is Luke Stanfield. This is his reception, which was more like a church dance, which fits Luke perfectly, he loves to dance. He use to be my swingin partner.

Brooklyn and Lana dancing their hearts out.

This is Alex and Jessica, also some good friends from growing up. Alex and Luke are cousins and they were pretty much the best guy friends I ever had.

This is another member of the gang Kirby. He is awesome. I always laugh so hard with him.

This is the band back together almost, except Jared. It made my mom cry to see them all together again without Jared.

This is the Drummer Jeff, the big brother I never had.

Alex again, the guitar/ base/ harmonica player. Jared was the base. These guys saved my brothers life by starting up this band.

One of my best friends growing up got married a few months ago. I went to the reception and was able to meat up with a lot of my old friends that i haven't seen in forever, it was awesome to hang out with them again. It felt like the old days, i miss them.

Brooklyn and Maddie got new glasses

Brooklyn got her first pair of glasses today. She has pretty good vision, but she has one eye that is a little weaker and likes to turn in a little so our doctor put her in glasses for a few months just to see if they straighten out that eye. So she might only wear glasses for a few months. It is funny having both of our girls in glasses now, but i don't mind and they actually like it so at least they can do it together. Brooklyn was excited to get glasses because she finally fits in with Maddie, isn't that funny. Glasses are the cool trend in our home.

Evie, June Bug, Miller

We decided to take some pictures of Evie randomly and they turned out so cute that I decided to post them. Isn't she the most beautiful baby ever. Man, Andy and I make cute babies.

Brooklyn's First Caving Trip

I took Brooklyn caving with my family and some friends for the first time. She loved it, she was in her element in there. She loved climbing the boulders and getting muddy. She got to see a bat and some cave crickets, so that thrilled her of course. I couldn't have been more proud. The pictures are pretty low quality but that is because we took them with a disposable camera, because no one wants to bring a nice camera in a place like that as you can see.

This is Brooklyn with my dad, he loved taking his grand baby through a cave. Brooklyn caved with us in there for 3 hours, he was so proud of her.

That is how tight the squeeze got, that is the top of the cave at that spot. Isn't she a trooper for sticking it out through that. Whats funny is that she loved it even more when she had to squeeze through small spaces and crawl on her belly.

We decided to stick her in a crack, her feet aren't on anything, she is just hangin out.

This is Brooklyn and my mom, Nana loved seeing Brooklyn enjoy something so much.

Brooklyn did so well in there, whenever the trail got hard we would just stick her on my brother's back, but a lot of the time she had it easier then we did simply because of her size, here she is just walking through a spot that was a back breaker to the rest of us.

This is everyone after we made it through the whole cave, we were a pretty dirty group of people. We are not all wearing brown we are just that covered in mud, it was a blast.

A Typical Weekend with the Young Family

Evie scarfing down strawberries as fast as we could give them to her.

Playing on the fun tire swing.

The girls watching their parents be silly and put up a 50 ft high zip line through the yard.

There I am about to go off our home made zip line it was really high and quite scary for a back yard zip line, i was really nervous.

There is my brother Palmer going, he actually was the Ginnie pig and went first to test it out for us, he almost hit the roof the first time so we had to make it even higher. It ended up being about 50ft high.

More Camping pictures at John Bryan, the Raccoon Story

It started out with some raccoons just coming up to us while we were playing cards late at night. The boys decided to start throwing rocks at them and then they started trying to peg them with rocks to knock them out of the tree. These raccoons were fearless they just kept coming back, no matter what we did to them. We finally just went to sleep but then Andy had to get out of his tent multiple times to scare the raccoons off and get our cooler back that they were dragging into the woods. The second night the guys were out for revenge and decided to set up a trap to catch one of the buggers. Andy and Jay sat in their little chairs in silence for 3 hours trying to catch one of them. The raccoons finally did let up a bit but they sadly never caught one. They are now making plans for a bigger better trap to use next time.
